The Spring Creek VFD Ladies Auxiliary held their most successful Pancake and Sausage Breakfast to date!

More than 270 people attended
and the event netted more than $1,600.

Seven members of the Ladies Auxiliary who helped with the event are pictured
here.  The smiles on their faces reflect the satisfaction of a job well done and th
e enjoyment of good food and fellowship with caring members of the Lake community. If you didn't get to attend, you missed a really good time.

With the purchase of our new fire tanker truck (pictured below), SCVFD has a tall financial hill to climb.  However, remarkable progress has been made with 56% of the truck paid for to date.

Your past and future support is greatly appreciated!

                                                           Sincerely,

                                                                     Maria Ricketson

UPDATE ON COOKBOOK SALES:

Cookbooks are selling well but there are plenty more to sell.  They will be sold at the:

Old South Day in Ochlocknee on November 14th,
     Christmas at
Fort Gaines
on November 21st and
     Swine Time on November 28th.

Please pass the word around and help us sell them all.  They make great birthday and Christmas gifts so buy a few to have ready to give!

Spring Creek VFD members,

Many of you know the SCVFD Ladies Auxiliary Cookbooks are now for sale.  Below you will find a list of businesses that have copies of the cookbook on hand and have graciously agreed to help us sell them.

A great deal of work and cooperation by members of the auxiliary went into the publication of this very attractive cookbook.  However, it was the goal of completing payment of the recently purchased tanker truck that kept the women motivated.  It is with that same goal in mind that the women continue working tirelessly to sell the books.  Selling all of the books will guarantee complete payment of the tanker truck and we need each of you to help us reach it.

The three-ring binder cookbook is $20.00. For more information call
Janice Rogers
(229) 400-8309 or Maria Ricketson (229) 861-2939. If anyone needs to have a cookbook mailed there will be an additional charge of $3.00 per book to cover book rate postage.

Thanks for supporting the fundraising projects of the SCVFD,

                                 Maria Ricketson
